Are you looking to host a professional development event or bring a speaker to your area to offer learning opportunities for local journalists?
The CAJ has available the Chapter-Region Professional Development Fund that aims to offer funding for professional development that is organized and delivered by local journalists in areas that either do not or cannot host the CAJ annual conference. The event can be a simple workshop or as big as a multi-day symposium offering multiple learning sessions. For opportunities greater than one simple session, the CAJ national board and staff would provide administrative, promotional and decision support to the on-the-ground event planning group.
