On behalf of all our members, the CAJ board of directors would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to two of our most dedicated Ottawa executives who leave us this term. Charelle Evelyn (The Hill Times) has served on the chapter executive for three years, two as president, and Abigail Bimman (Global News) has served on the CAJ board of directors as the regional representative since 2018. Both Charelle and Abigail have been critical in supporting and connecting journalists in their region—and across the country. We are are grateful for their dedication over the past few years and wish them all the best in their future work.
The Canadian Association of Journalists is a professional organization with more than 700 members across Canada. The CAJ's primary roles are public-interest advocacy work and professional development for its members.
