The Canadian Association is extending the deadline for nominations for seats on the CAJ board of directors until May 1, 2020.

Nominations are now open for the 2020-2022 term for the following seats:

  • B.C. regional director

  • Atlantic regional director

  • Northern Canada (Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut) regional director

  • Manitoba / Northwestern Ontario regional director

  • National director (three positions)

If you are passionate about journalism and want to help our organization support journalists and advocate for their rights, we want to hear from you! 

Per the CAJ bylaws, nominations are open to all Class A members in good standing for the positions outlined above. Nominees for regional director positions must live in the region they would be representing. National directors can be any Class A member working anywhere in Canada.

The new nominations deadline is Friday May 1, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
