Yukon journalist Eva Holland elected to the CAJ’s board of directors

The Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ) is thrilled to welcome journalist Eva Holland to the CAJ board of directors for the 2021-2022 term.

Holland is a full-time freelance journalist and correspondent in Whitehorse for Outside magazine. Her work has recently appeared in Wired, Bloomberg Businessweek, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and the Globe and Mail.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Eva to the CAJ board,” said CAJ president, Brent Jolly. “We know she’s passionate about advocating for and connecting Northern journalists, so her help on CAJ projects during the next year is going to be really invaluable.”

Holland is a mentor in the CAJ’s Mentorship Program for Journalists and will be working with the CAJ board to connect and support journalists working in Yukon, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories.

The CAJ would like to thank all of the journalists who ran for the seat and encourage anyone interested in getting involved with the organization to email us at [email protected]

The Canadian Association of Journalists is a professional organization with more than 900 members across Canada. The CAJ's primary roles are public-interest advocacy work and professional development for its members.
